Training
Gentle Canines training program is done in your home once a week for approximately one hour with a total of 5 weeks on average needed to complete the program. Outside of Oklahoma, please select the THREE DAY INTENSIVE TRAINING for in-person training OR CHOOSE THE VIRTUAL TRAINING to do training sessions via ZOOM. The training is individualized to each animal and done in your home to address all behavior issues. The bond between a dog and their human is improved and strengthened through our training program by using corrective commands, positive reinforcement, proper usage of a variety of training tools, and trust-building techniques. This bond allows the training to be effective for both the canine and their human companion. Learning the language used with your pet allows you to set firm expectations for your pets behavior both in the home and out.
At Gentle Canines, we strive to make our training available and affordable to anyone who needs us. Unlike many of our competitors, we do not offer classes or board and train programs. Through experience and our extensive knowledge base, we understand dogs and dog behaviors. We will not see the same problems you are facing in your home if we remove the dog from the environment. By offering trainings exclusively in your home, we teach YOU how to recognize issues, address the issue, prevent the problem from occuring, and provide you with all the necessary tools to create a strong bond between you and your dogs!
